After previous intensive and careful communication, on August 28, AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. officially signed a contract with Haikou Jiangdong New Area Administration to confirm the first batch of 11 aircrafts, marking the "first order" of the aircraft leasing business of Hainan Free Trade Port in Haikou.
It is confirmed that AVIC International Leasing will launch the first seven batches of Cessna208B Navigation Aircraft and the first four batches of King Air 350 Aircraft in Haikou. The total amount of the contract is about 240 million yuan. Whilst AVIC International Leasing has also signed contracts with both Zhuhai AVIC General Aviation Co., Ltd. and Hebei AVIC General Aviation Co., Ltd. as its Lessee companies.
"This cooperation becomes the first aircraft leasing business in the Airport Economic Zone and Haikou city has been implementing the requirements of the 'Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port'. The cooperation with AVIC International Leasing has injected strong momentum into the development of the Airport Economic Zone," said one of the executive of Haikou Jiangdong New Area Administration.
Since the beginning of this year, Haikou has hosted many investment invitation and signing events including China (Haikou) Free Trade Port Aviation Industry Development Forum, and "Cloud Signing", a service platform for the entire industry chain of the Free Trade Port, etc. It is reported that Haikou has docked with more than 50 high-quality financial leasing companies from both domestic and overseas markets. Up to now projects such as Puyin Leasing, China Southern Airlines International Leasing, and SITC International have successfully landed in Haikou.
It is reported that AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. belongs to Aviation Industry Corporation of China, and it is one of the first domestic financial leasing pilot enterprises approved by the Ministry of Commerce and the State Taxation Administration. The company was registered and established in Shanghai Pudong New Area in 1993 and so far has more than 400 branch offices in more than 30 cities across the country.
