BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The People's Insurance Company (Group) of China, the country's leading insurer, on Monday reported premium incomes of 335.05 billion yuan (about 47.9 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of the year.
The figure represented a growth of 4.25 percent over the same period of last year, according to the company's statement filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The company's premium incomes reached 552.2 billion yuan in 2019.
The share price of the Shanghai-listed insurer went up 0.52 percent to close at 7.68 yuan on Monday. Enditem
