TUNIS, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Noureddine Erray on Monday called for further economic, social and cultural cooperation with China.
Cooperation with China should be deepened in fields where China is the global leader, the minister said at the 9th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum held Monday via video link.
It is also important to activate Arab-Chinese cooperation in the tourism sector, Erray added.
The minister highlighted the importance of international solidarity in the face of challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Erray reiterated Tunisia's support for the Palestinian people, stressed the need to defend the unity of Arab states, and urged political settlement of crises, including the Libyan crisis. Enditem
