BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Northwest China's Shaanxi Province unveiled a slew of measures to spur consumption recovery in a bid to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 outbreak on economy, reported the Shaanxi Daily on Tuesday.
According to the measures,Shaanxi government encourages the purchase of new energy vehicles and trading of second-hand vehicles.
Shaanxi government supports green and smart home appliance consumption, encourages qualified cities or districts to carry out trade-in programs, and gives appropriate subsidies.
Shaanxi government proposes to expand online consumption. It will give a one-time subsidy of 20,000 yuan to enterprises that open flagship stores and specialty shops on well-known e-commerce platforms for the first time in 2020 and achieve online agricultural products sales revenues of more than 500,000 yuan. Night-time economy will be vigorously developed.
In addition, the measures make it clear that urban management and law enforcement authorities in Shaanxi should adhere to flexible law enforcement and allow some mobile street vendors to temporarily occupy the road for business operations.
