BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese IT solution provider Neusoft (600718.SH) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the government of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday to jointly promote the building of digital Guangxi, reported the Xinhua-run China Securities Journal.
Neusoft will give full play to its advantages in software R&D and platform construction to drive the development of Guangxi's local software industry, with focus on healthcare sector, digital government and smart city construction, according to the agreement.
The two sides will establish a joint venture as the software R&D and hardware production base in Guangxi to provide technical support and best practice reference for the application of domestic information technology and products in the field of Guangxi's digital government.
In the future, Neusoft will help Guangxi build a new highland of information technology and data services targeting ASEAN so as to give full play to the region's role as a bridge in China-ASEAN cooperation, accelerate the cultivation of new drivers of digital economy, and promote the digital transformation of enterprises.
