MILAN, Apr. 23 (Class Editori) - Triboo, company listed on the MTA of Piazza Affari, has started the sale of serological tests able to detect the presence of antibodies in patients vulnerable to COVID-19 infection.
The analysis kit "Novel Coronavirus Antibody (IgM/IgG) Test" is produced by the Chinese pharmaceutical company Sobs Outdo Biotech. Through the analysis of a blood sample, it detects the presence of IgM antibodies, which are produced during the infection, and IgG antibodies, which perform a neutralising activity and can be found, on average, after two weeks since the virus has entered the body. The test gives an answer concerning the presence of these antibodies in 10-15 minutes.
The group from Milan is aiming at making devices available which can be useful to the authorities and the National Healthcare System in order to track people who have already contracted or defeated the virus, with the goal of allowing the regular and safe activities resumption during Phase 2. The expected delivery times are about 10/15 days thanks to the logistics support activity supplied on site by the Shanghai’s branch.
Last week, the company signed a framework agreement with Confindustria for the supply of three-ply surgical masks to 150 thousand associate companies. For every masks' order received, Triboo donates a quantity equal to 20 percent of the total amount addressed to the Civil Protection.
