BEIJING, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Shenzhen Aoto Electronics Co. (002587.SZ) signed a three-year strategic agreement with China Unicom Network Technology Research Institute in cooperation with application of AI and 5G technologies, according to the company's filling to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The two sides will work together in the fields of smart finance and smart government in a bid to create a smart ecological chain. They will also seek cooperation on the application of the Internet of Things and big data, jointly establish a 5G innovation laboratory, promote the formulation of industry standards and conduct market promotion.
Based on the agreement, Aoto can provide hardware and software products related to artificial intelligence, while China Unicom Network Technology Research Institute boasts leading 5G technology and rich big data information of customers.
Focusing on 5G application scenarios, the two sides will work together to set up a 5G innovation laboratory in Aoto Park to explore 5G-based core technology and promote the implementation of 5G and Internet of Things in industries.
