JINAN, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Sinotruck's Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. saw annual growth of 35.16 percent in net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company, China National Heavy-Duty Truck Group (Sinotruck) announced Wednesday.
Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. said its net profit reached 1.22 billion yuan (about 171.9 million U.S. dollars) in 2019.
In 2019, Jinan Truck sold 136,955 trucks in total, and its sales revenue reached 39.8 billion yuan, down 1.33 percent year on year.
The company set its sales goal for this year at 142,000 trucks with sales revenue reaching 45 billion yuan.
As China's first heavy-duty truck manufacturer, Sinotruck was initially founded in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, in 1956.
