MILAN, Mar. 16 (Class Editori) – After Jack Ma, also Zoomilion sent its solidarity to Italy, in order to fight coronavirus emergency. The industrial group, which purchased Senago’s Cifa in 2008 and is active in the field of concrete technologies, will provide 50-thousand masks offered by the Communist Party of Hunan and by the Provincial Council. “The first lot will be donated to Niguarda hospital of Milan” as Li Bin- Zoomilion International Business Management director- has explained. The Group has already been supplied with the necessary equipment to safeguard its own workers in China and around the world.
Zoomilion intervention has been added to a series of initiatives to support Italy, which have been launched by the People’s Republic of China. On Thursday March 12, the plane coming from China with nine specialists and a cargo of humanitarian aids, sent by the Chinese Red Cross Organisation to the Italian one, landed in Roma Fiumicino.
The nine specialists, six men and three women directed by the vice president of the Chinese Red Cross Organisation- Yang Huichuan- and by a famous cardiopulmonary resuscitation professor- Liang Zongan- are emergency doctors, paediatricians, nurses and people who have dealt with the coronavirus emergency in China.
On Friday 13, in Belgium landed a plane carrying 2 million masks and test reagents, which have been gifted to European countries by Alibaba Foundation and Jack Ma, through his namesake foundation.
Supplies will be particularly delivered to Italy (about 500 thousand masks) and Spain, but also to other countries. According to the economic-financial platform Yicai, Ma will use the Alibaba hub located in the Liegi Airport, which had been opened in December 2018. Belgium, in fact, has been the first European country to endorse the Electronic World Trade Platform (eWTP), the e-commerce global platform launched in 2016 on the occasion of the G20 hosted in China, when the protectionism, just evoked by the at that time Candidate for the White House – Donald Trump - started to take hold. On the occasion of the agreement with Brussels, the logistics responsible of Alibaba, Cainiao, rented an area of 220,000 sqm in the Liegi Airport, with an initial investment of 75 million euros.
