SHENYANG, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Two flights carrying medical supplies took off Monday from the city of Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, and headed to Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) respectively, as the province's efforts in aiding the two countries' anti-coronavirus fight.
The supplies donated by Liaoning Province included 155,000 surgical masks and 7,000 protective suits. Among them, 79,800 surgical masks and 2,030 protective suits will be sent to Japan, while the remaining supplies donated to the ROK, according to the foreign affairs office of Liaoning provincial government.
"After the COVID-19 outbreak, the international community including Japan and the ROK had helped Liaoning get through difficulties by providing key supplies in need.
