Abstract : According to Airports of Thailand PCL (AOT), Suvarnabhumi Airport highly concerns about the health of passengers and service users and keeps following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (2019-nCoV) epidemic.

InfoQuest, (February 13, 2020) -- According to Airports of Thailand PCL (AOT), Suvarnabhumi Airport highly concerns about the health of passengers and service users and keeps following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (2019-nCoV) epidemic. In addition to increasing the frequency of cleaning in areas where passengers are likely to contact and asking passenger service departments to use disinfectant regularly,

Suvarnabhumi Airport also installed 217 automatic alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers and alcohol-based gel in pump bottles in areas including aircraft boarding bridges, information counters, immigration document filling-out counters, Transit-Transfer area, security check area, all concourses, Bus Gate area, aisles of area 2 and area 3 of the 3rd-floor parking lot, baggage claim rotary area, passenger ticket check counters, 1st-floor public transport service counters, public transportation service center, etc., so as to facilitate the cleaning and disinfection of passengers and stop the 2019-nCoV from spreading.

The measures implemented at Suvarnabhumi Airport will help passengers and service users build confidence in the cleanliness and safety of the airport, in line with the principle of "safety first, mindful service" that Suvarnabhumi Airport always adheres to.
