BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- The comprehensive rankings of the Chinese cities' credit monitoring were released by China Economic Information Network of the State Information Center on Tuesday.
The rankings, released on the Forum for Credit System Construction of Chinese Cities held in Jinan, capital city of east China's Shandong Province, aim to commend the outstanding credit work of the cities, and encourage the development of the cities' credit construction.
According to the rankings, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chongqing, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Qingdao and Chengdu are listed in the top ten provincial capital level or above sub-provincial level cities, while Suzhou, Weihai, Wuhu, Yantai, Anshan, Zhuhai, Quzhou, Xianning, Huizhou and Huaibei are listed in the top ten prefecture-level cities.
Zhou Min, deputy director of the State Information Center, introduced that, based on massive heterogeneous data, supported by advanced big data technology and through various forms including credit monitoring platform, credit ranking and analysis report, the cities' credit monitoring has actively assisted the decision-making departments in knowing the progress and problems of the cities' credit construction.
By continuous monitoring, it is found that some cities have maintained the leading positions in credit construction, and some cities have accelerated the development of credit construction, said Zhou Min.
During the forum, the State Information Center also released 2019 Report on Credit Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of the Chinese cities.
The forum, jointly hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the People's Government of Jinan under the guidance of the National Development and Reform Commission, and undertaken by China Economic Information Service (CEIS) and Jinan municipal development and reform commission, was held from September 24 to 25, 2019.
