BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Anhui Sinonet & Xinlong Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (002298.SZ) announced on Monday that its subsidiary Beijing SINONET Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (SINONET), has recently won the bid for a smart city public-private partnerships (PPP) project at 667 million yuan.
The project is launched by Hezhang County in southwest China's Guizhou Province, which aims to establish an urban management platform using smart city solutions, based on sub-systems for public security, people's livelihood, industries, and government services. It involves the construction of front-end sensing facilities, municipal information infrastructure, smart municipal infrastructure management system, and intelligent application system. The construction period is planned to be 24 months.
The company stated that the total amount of the bid accounted for 27.14 percent of its audited operating income of the previous year, and that it expected to reinforce its competitiveness in the field of smart city through this project.
