BEIJING, June 21 (Xinhua) -- East China's Hefei city of Anhui Province has run 200 China-Europe freight trains since the beginning of this year, said the local operator of the freight train.
According to the operator, the 200th China-Europe freight train has recently departed from Hefei to reach Hamburg in Germany, loaded with stators for wind turbines, optical cables, alternating current motors and other mechanical and electrical equipment, only 67 days after the 100th train was sent.
It is introduced that the train route has added a series of overseas destinations, including Duisburg in Germany, Moscow in Russia, Minsk in Belarus, and Tashkent in Uzbekistan. Also, it has newly opened several return trips departing from Helsinki in Finland, Duisburg in Germany, Krasnoyarsk in Russia, etc., raising the ratio of return trips / departure trips to 46.38 percent from 35.14 percent in the same period last year.
In addition, the operator has also opened a number of customized train lines to better help local enterprises go global.
