BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Zhejiang, a coastal province in eastern China, saw a 10.8 percent year on year rise in goods export in May this year, which totaled 203.41 billion yuan, reported Zhejiang Daily on Sunday.
The year-on-year growth rate is 3.1 percent higher than the overall growth rate of the whole country.
On the month on month basis, the province's export in May grew 20.5 percent, much higher than the nation's average of 10.4 percent, and it is the second fastest monthly growth for Zhejiang's export since May 2017, only next to January this year, said relevant official of Hangzhou Customs.
