BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- The output value of Internet of Things (IoT)-related industries in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality exceeded 100 billion yuan in 2018, with core business output topping 56.49 billion yuan, up 37 percent year on year, according to a report by Chongqing Daily.
The report says that Chongqing has currently 287 IoT enterprises whose main business operations can achieve an annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more, covering system integration, operation services and hardware manufacturing of IoT industries.
In the future, the city will continue to support the development of IoT enterprises and promote the application of IoT systems in intelligent manufacturing and smart city projects, according to the report. (Edited by Li Wenxin, liwenxin@xinhua.org)
