BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) – A Chinese consortium has recently signed an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with Falcondoils (PVT) Ltd for a petroleum refining project in Pakistan, with a total contract value of 3.588 billion U.S. dollars.
The consortium is formed by China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co. (GEDI) and China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co..
The project includes the construction of an oil refinery with a daily processing capacity of 100,000 barrels and affiliated oil pipelines and oil storage tanks.
