BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- A consortium formed by China First Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. (CFMCC) and China Tianying Inc. (000035.SZ) lately inked an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contract valuing 1.972 billion yuan on construction of a municipal solid waste(MSW) incineration power plant in Hanoi, Vietnam, reported www.bhi.com.cn on Monday.
CFMCC is a large enterprise engaging in general contracting of project construction, real estate development and equipment fabrication, while China Tianying is an environmental protection & new energy enterprise.
This is the second largest MSW incineration power plant around the globe as well as one of the important people's livelihood projects in Vietnam.
The power plant will be conducive to the improvement of Hanoi's environmental and sanitary conditions, boosting the city's green and sustainable development. (Edited by Gu Shanshan)
