MILAN, Apr 26 (Class Editori) - Blumarine brings Italian fashion to Dubai. The Blufin brand was given the honor of opening the eight edition of the Arab Fashion Week – organized by the Arab Fashion Council – event featuring and celebrating 70 designers from the Middle East, Europe and Asia with its rich schedule, filled with catwalks, pop-up stores, presentations, and trunk shows.
The location is the City Walk Store 1422, new destination for all luxury shopping enthusiasts born out of the partnership between the Arab Fashion Council, Meeras and Umdash. Here, as of yesterday night, Blumarine officially opened the happening’s dances.
“I am really happy for this invite in quality of honor guest,” said Anna Molinari, creative director and founder of Blumarine, to MFF. “I am impressed by how excited are people here about me and my brand. I could have never imagined such a welcome”.
The designer brought her Fall-Winter 2019/20 Collection to the stage, enriching it with special creations and elegant pieces hoping to satisfy the demanding taste of local customers – though they will also reach different markets.
“The fact that I can be here today makes it for a very important acknowledgement of what has been my career,” added Molinari. “This is a global city, and it uses its peculiar synergy to blend tradition and innovation”. During the next few days, the event will also host several emerging designers.
“The Arab Fashion Week is a powerful platform for local, national and international fashion designers, allowing them to show the whole world how fashion is evolving in the Middle East,” said Jacob Abrian, CEO of the Arab Fashion Council. “We are proud to see this event transform, attract international attention and hosting brands, media and buyers from all over the world”.
