BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- The construction of an integrated petrochemicals complex and infrastructure (IPCI) project contracted by China National Chemical Engineering Group Co.(CNCEC) in Kazakhstan is going smoothly.
As one of the key projects in China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation, the project has an annual output of 500,000 tons of polypropylene and a total contract value of 1.865 billion U.S. dollars.
Construction on the project was kicked off in November of 2017 and will be completed within 42 months.
CNCEC expects to finish the detailed design of the project and 80 percent of its civil construction within the year.
In recent years, CNCEC has established more than 70 branches in countries along the Belt and Road, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey,etc.
