MILAN, Apr 14 (Class Editori) - Digitouch, a company listed on AIM specializing in digital marketing, is getting ready to land abroad, focusing on Eastern Europe in particular. "The company will follow three guidelines in the next few months,"ays managing director Simone Ranucci Brandimarte, who holds 17% of the capital. "The first guideline involves the internationalization of the group, a necessary move in view of the consolidation of the market. The second regards the development of new technological solutions. As for the third, it focuses on new acquisitions in Italy, following the five already implemented since 2015".
2018 closed with revenues of 32.233 million, (+12%), and a net profit of 268 thousand euros compared to 416 thousand gained in 2017, including however an extraordinary capital gain for the sale of the subsidiary Audiens. "The online advertising market has great potential for growth. The market in Italy alone is worth about 3 billion, accounting for 35% of advertising spending. It is estimated that the sector will grow by 43% in 2022," added Brandimarte.
The opportunities come from banking and insurance markets, but also from large stores and the automotive sector. The company's EBITDA at the end of 2018 was of 4.9 million and the goal for 2019 is to reach an EBITDA between 6 and 7 million and a turnover between 42 and 43 million. Investments in technology for 2 million euros have already been made available. As for the acquisitions, between 2 and 5 million will be put in place, both in Italy and abroad.
"We already have a collection of bonds in Italy. We expect to enter the market of Eastern Europe within 2019 or at the latest by the beginning of 2020". Growth in the foreign markets is set to continue under the leadership of Brandimante, one of the founders of Yolo Insureech and of Buongiorno, a company where he held the role of international manager and worked on the landing in 35 countries.
