BEIJING -- The China industrial park in India has been officially launched on June 20.
This park, initiated by the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CASME), is aimed at encouraging China's small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to take fully advantage of China's Belt and Road Initiative to explore the Indian market.
The China industrial park will provide an international investment platform for Chinese enterprises to "go out", said Li Zibin, president of CASME, adding that the park planned to focus on four parts, which include production and processing, commodity display and trade, storage and logistics as well as comprehensive supporting service.
Located in the Ahmedabad city of Gujarat of India, the project will be completed in three years and its first phase will be put into operation in 2018.
