BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) --- Construction on 66 major industrial projects, involving total investment of 76 billion yuan, lately kicked off in Shanghai’s Baoshan district, according to report on www.xinhua08.com.
The 66 projects include 20 projects in advanced manufacturing, modern service, and production and city integration that are entering construction phase, 26 projects like integrated circuit industrial park that are entering initial planning stage, and 20 projects entering final construction, such as the future industrial park in the north suburb of Shanghai.
In recent years, Baoshan district has attracted a number of high-value-added projects with application of high technology and strong driving force, in a bid to spur the development of regional economies.
This year, Baoshan will explore new service model, provide all-round support for enterprises so as to accelerate the construction pace of these projects and improve regional business environment.
