BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Yunnan province will complete renovation and upgrading of 10,000 kilometers roads in rural areas in 2019 as part of its efforts to fight against poverty, according to the provincial transportation department.
To fulfill the target, the provincial government of Yunnan will continue to promote the rural road construction in poverty-stricken areas to facilitate traveling as well as boost resource and industrial development.
It is reported that by the end of 2018, 94.49 percent of the villages in Yunnan had enjoyed the bus services and the postal services had been provided to 99.55 percent of the villages in the province. (Edited by Bao Nuoming)
