Abstract : Tesla plans to start producing Model 3 vehicles at its Shanghai gigafactory by the the end of 2019 with initial target set at 3,000 cars per week, the automaker said Thursday.
BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Tesla plans to start producing Model 3 vehicles at its Shanghai gigafactory by the the end of 2019 with initial target set at 3,000 cars per week, the automaker said Thursday.
It expects to raise the output to 10,000 vehicles per week in the long run.
Tesla also reported on Thursday its earnings of 1.93 U.S. dollars per share and revenue of 7.23 billion U.S. dollars in the fourth quarter of 2018, with profits falling short of market expectations. (Edited by Su Dan, Niu Huizhe)
