BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- 17 banks including the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and the China Development Bank (CDB) signed contracts with northeast China's Jilin Province, involving 372 projects in the amount of more than 190 billion yuan, as of October 22, according to the People's Daily on Tuesday.
These projects covers fields such as infrastructure construction, people's livelihood, and environmental protection, said the report.
On Monday, an office responsible for coordinating the financial cooperation for the revitalization of northeast China has also been set up in Changchun, capital city of Jilin Province. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
