BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Chongqing is expected to achieve 750 billion yuan in the output value of smart industry by 2020, according to the local authorities, quoted by Chongqing Daily on Wednesday.
Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI) and its branch in Chongqing on Tuesday held a forum about the intelligent development of the big data.
Chongqing aims to build itself into an important national intelligent industry base and a city of intelligent application demonstration by 2020, said the local authorities at the forum.
It is reported that Chongqing will improve the artificial intelligence industry chain, especially cultivate the technological innovation platforms involving the big data and intelligent computing, and intelligent logistics network, and build a public service platform integrating technology research and development, demonstration application, intellectual property and other functions, in a bid to promote artificial intelligence technology innovation.
