BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- China's Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (600519.SH) Thursday said in an announcement that the company will build a 30,000 ton Moutai-flavor liquor technical modification project and related facilities, with a total investment no more than 8.384 billion yuan.
According to the announcement, the fund will be raised by the company itself and the project will be built in Xishui Country of Zunyi City in Guizhou Province.
The project plans to build 84 new liquor-making houses, six upgraded liquor-making houses and supporting facilities. Upon completion, newly added production capacity of the Motai-flavor liquor will reach about 30,000 tons.
Moreover, 62 new pottery liquor storage houses will be built, with 83,700 tons of new liquor storage capacity; four groups of stainless steel tanks will also be built, with about 28,000 tons of new liquor storage capacity.
The construction period of the project is three years.
