BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Sungai Buloh depot of the line 2 of Kuala Lumpur metro in Malaysia, which was undertaken by China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., has been recently started.
According to bhi.com.cn, Line 2 of Kuala Lumpur metro is 52.2 kilometers long. It has a standard gauge and is powered by a 750 volt conductor rail. There are 37 stations on the line, including 11 underground stations, 26 elevated stations and two depots near Sungai Buloh Station and Serdang Station.
The main construction contents include 8.2 kilometers of ballasted track, 23 sets of turnout, 19,000 cubic meters of ballasts, 3.2 kilometers of cables, 6.8 km of cable troughs and 8.3 kilometers of conductive conductor rail. (Edited by Yang Qi, kateqiyang@xinhua.org)
