NAIROBI, Aug.3 (Xinhua) -- Built by China State Construction, Abidjan Four Bridge project in Cote d'Ivoire started construction in July 31.
Amadou Gon Coulibaly, Prime Minister of Cote d’lvoire said that the Abidjan Four Bridge project is part of the overall development strategy of Cote d'Ivoire, and the construction of high-quality road and bridge infrastructure is conducive to the development of the country.
Tang Weibin, Chinese ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, said that China Construction Group is a powerful enterprise, which will be considered completing the project on time and with high quality, and contributing a lot to promoting the living standard of local people.
The Abidjan Four Bridge project is located in Abidjan, economic capital of Cote d'Ivoire, with a total length of about 7.5 kilometers. The project mainly includes the construction of one main bridge, one overpass and ramp bridge, three flyovers, one toll station, one underpass and related roads and ancillary facilities.
