BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- The China-Kazakhstan logistics base has seen 2.18 million metric tons (tonnes) of cargo delivered in and out of the storage such as Kazakhstan wheat and cotton yarn in the first half of 2018.
The China-Kazakhstan logistics base in Lianyungang city of Jiangsu province has received 10 special trains carrying 13,392 tonnes of Kazakhstan wheat since this February.
It is expected that this month there would be a few trains of Kazakhstan wheat sent to Southeast Asian countries via Lianyungang as transit which could enhance the influence of Lianyungang's transit transport brand and build Lianyungang into Belt and Road land-sea integrated transport demonstration channel.
