Nearly two-thirds of Germans (63 per cent) consider their financial situation "good" or "very good," while less than half of Europeans overall (47 per cent) said the same of their own financial situation, a poll released Monday showed.
Some 69 per cent of Germans who responded to a survey conducted by research company Nielsen said their job prospects for the next 12 months were "good" or "very good," while the EU average on that question stood at only 39 per cent.
Nielsen conducts annual surveys in 64 countries about people's job prospects, their personal financial situation and their willingness to spend money. This year's representative sample included more than 17,000 participants.
