BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Dongfang Electric announced on late Wednesday that the company and Shanghai Electric as a project consortium has won a bid for Egypt's six 1000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units and the matching coal terminal EPC contracting project.
The contract value of the project is approximately 4.4 billion U.S. dollars.
The company stated that it will strictly follow the contract stipulations, control the contract execution risk, and ensure that the contract is performed smoothly on schedule. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
