BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Changchun-Manzhouli-Europe railway’s Nuremberg warehouse held cargo departure ceremony on June 20 in Nuremberg, Germany, according to yidaiyilu.gov.cn.
The cargo used the new overseas warehouse in Nuremberg and would be transported through multimodal transport systems such as China-Europe trains, ocean shipping and air freight to facilitate the “going out” of companies from northeast China’s Jilin province.
Commissioned in August of 2015, the Changchun-Manzhouli-Europe railway entered into normal operation in 2017.
Changchun-Manzhouli-Europe railway has already connected 30 railway stations in 10 European countries along the Belt and Road route and more than 180 railway stations in Russia, serving more than 2,100 companies worldwide. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
