Director of the Bishkek Bureau of the Xinhua News Agency in Kyrgyzstan since end-June, 2014; worked consecutively as trainee reporter at the Jiangsu Office of the Xinhua News Agency, Spanish editor at the International News Editorial Department, and editor at the New Media Editorial Department; served twice at the Latin American Regional Bureau in Mexico as editor and reporter; interviewed senior officials of international institutions and heads of state including Edmund Mulet, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Haiti, and the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev; wrote a number of reports on politics, finance and culture; having followed closely the national situation and economic development of Kyrgyzstan since working there; interviewed local government officials, experts and scholars and did a series of reports on Kyrgyzstan economy and China-Kyrgyzstan economic and trade cooperation, with many on the Belt and Road Initiative.
