Started to work in the International News Department of Xinhua News Agency after graduating from the Department of Arabic of the Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2001; serving consecutively as editor of the Arabic language section of the International News Department, Arabic editor of the Middle East bureau in Cairo, reporter and chief of the Riyadh bureau; visiting and reporting the battlefields in Libya and Syria as head of the emergency reinforcement reporting team during the “Arab Spring”; over 10 years of experience in reporting international news at the forefront in the Middle East; specializing in the investigation and study of political, economic and cultural issues in the Middle East, especially the Gulf States; a number of works in Arabia and Chinese commended by the Xinhua News Agency and other authorities for excellence in writing.
