BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- China’s software service outsourcing volume amounted to 36.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2017, up 10.2 percent year on year, according to statistics released in the China International Software & Information Service Fair 2018 (CISIS 2018) held from June 12 to June 15.
China has made great effort to improve the international level of software service outsourcing.
Wang Bingnan, Vice Minister of Commerce, noted that the Chinese government will actively support leading enterprises’ effort to build overseas industrial parks, set up overseas branches, develop outward oriented business such as cross-border e-commerce and service outsourcing, and create their own brands.
CISIS 2018 is the only national software trading fair in China, boasting 30,000 square meters of exhibition area and 750 exhibitors. (Edited by Zhang Yuan, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
