BEIJING, May 16 (Xinhua) – China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba signed multiple cooperation agreements with Tianjin municipal government on Tuesday.
According to the agreements, Alibaba will kick off several key smart industrial projects in Tianjin to boost the intelligent development of the city.
It is noted that their cooperation mainly covers three areas, including the construction of a new retail industry, the promotion of city brain, and the application of the regional economic brain in Jinnan District of Tianjin.
The 2nd World Intelligence Congress opened on Tuesday in Tianjin. Alibaba participated in the congress with a number of Chinese and foreign companies.
