BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu International Railway Port in Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu has run 2,100 trains of Chengdu-Europe Railway Express as of May 4, 2018, after its annual volume rank first in the country for two consecutive years (2016 and 2017), according to Chengdu International Railway Port.
From 31 Chengdu-Europe cargo trains in 2013 to 1,012 trains in 2017, the Chengdu International Railway Port also saw cargo value and cargo volume soar in recent years, with the absolute cargo value of single container achieving annual growth of 80.64 percent, and dispatched train number, cargo value and cargo volume taking up one fourth of the country’s total.
