BEIJING, May 2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 110,908.4 metric tons (tonnes) of poultrymeat and its products, an increase of 9.1 percent year on year from January to March this year, according to a monthly report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's poultrymeat and its products exports during the period amounted to about 378.8 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 12.4 percent year on year.
In March, China exported 39,452.9 tonnes of poultrymeat and its products, an increase of 26 percent month on month and the value of China's poultrymeat and its products exports amounted to about 136.49 million U.S. dollars, up 29.9 percent month on month.
According to the report, Japan ranked first by value in March, among all the countries and regions that imported poultrymeat and its products from China, with the poultrymeat and its products import worth 69.30 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 13.1 percent year on year.
