BEIJING, Apr. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Myanmar depot project EPC contracted by CPP is commenced on March 26.
The project is located in Thilawa, Yangon Region, Myanmar owned by Myanmar Sun Energy and supervised by Singapore SJ consultant. CPP is responsible for the on-site construction of the four professional disciplines of machinery, firefighting, water supply and drainage, piping, and structure of the depot project. The total storage tank capacity is 153,000 cubic meters. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2019.
The Myanmar government and the owner attach great importance to this project. When completed, it will greatly ease the current situation of Myanmar's oil and gas shortages, and provide more adequate oil and gas resources for Yangon and Mandalay areas.
The project adheres to the international standards and established a set of adaptable management systems and management method. Before the project is started, all the construction staffs have completed the entrance training. The consultant has checked the details of the site and ensured that the work conforms to the regulations.
