BEIJING, Apr. 2 (Xinhua) -- East China’s Fujian Province saw its foreign trade with countries along the Belt and Road routes stood at 64.54 billion yuan in the first two months of 2018, up 30.3 percent year on year, according to the Xiamen Customs.
To be specific, the province’s imports from those countries increased 35.2 percent year on year to stand at 28.09 billion yuan, while its exports to those countries rose 26.8 percent year on year to be 36.45 billion yuan.
In the first two months of the year, the province’s exports of the traditional labor-intensive products including textiles and garments, furniture, bags, footwear, plastic products and toys to the Belt & Road countries stood at 13.84 billion yuan, up 30.9 percent, according to the local customs authorities.
