BEIJING, Apr. 2 (Xinhua) -- China imported 60,294.2 metric tons (tonnes) of poultrymeat and its products, a decrease of 11.1 percent year on year from January to February this year, according to a monthly report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's poultrymeat and its products imports amounted to about 143.70 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 5.5 percent year on year.
According to the report, Brazil ranked first by value in February, among all the countries and regions that export poultrymeat and its products to China, with the poultrymeat and its products export worth 63.30 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 10.1 percent year on year.
