BEIJING, Apr. 2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 71,455.5 metric tons (tonnes) of poultrymeat and its products, an increase of 14.6 percent year on year from January to February this year, according to a monthly report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's poultrymeat and its products exports during the period amounted to about 242.28 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 15.6 percent year on year.
In February, China exported 31,311.1 tonnes of poultrymeat and its products, a decrease of 22.0 percent month on month and the value of China's poultrymeat and its products exports amounted to about 105.09 million U.S. dollars, down 23.4 percent month on month.
According to the report, Japan ranked first by value in February, among all the countries and regions that import poultrymeat and its products from China,with the poultrymeat and its products import worth 43.54 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 21 percent year on year.
