BEIJING, Apr.2 (Xinhua) -- China exported 2,298.8 metric tons (tonnes) of yellow rice wine in the first two months of 2018, a decrease of 1.7 percent year on year, according to a month report released jointly by Xinhua Silk Road and China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
The value of China's yellow rice wine exports amounted to 3.828 million U.S. dollars in January to February, an increase of 9 percent year on year. The average price was 1,665.3 U.S. dollars per tonne, an increase of 10.9 percent year on year.
China exported 1,122.6 tonnes of yellow rice wine in February, 2018, a decrease of 4.6 percent month on month. The value of China's yellow rice wine exports amounted to 1.729 million U.S. dollars, a decrease of 17.6 percent month on month. The average price was 1,540.5 U.S. dollars per tonne, a decrease of 13.7 percent month on month.
Compared with February 2017, there was an increase of 32.4 percent in quantity, an increase of 52.9 percent in value, and an increase of 15.4 percent in average price. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
