CHENGDU, Mar. 26 (Xinhua) -- France Pavilion made its debut at 2018 China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo (CIADE 2018) at Luzhou International Conference and Exhibition Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Sunday.
With set up of 56 booths covering an area of 504 square meters, the pavilion attracted a total of 30 related wine companies, and thus became a window for China to understand the French wine.
The opening of the France Pavilion has added new momentum to the Expo. In recent years, Luzhou has strengthened exchanges with France about the wine culture, said Cao Jianguo, director of the Standing Committee of the Luzhou Municipal People’s Congress.
China and France, as two big wine countries, have great potential for industrial cooperation. The wine industry is not only a matter of Sino-French trade, but also a link between cultural exchanges of the two countries, said the French congressman Jacques Cattin.
