China Investment Consulting (CIC), China’s famous consulting institute, which issued recently a report named "Development and Strategy Consulting Report on China Characteristic Town Construction During 2018-2022", pointed out that with the construction of China’s fund town entering a new stage, China’s fund town-constructed in industrial park might be a new model of development and construction.
The report said after the New Year's Day in 2017, more and more economic zones and industrial parks are actively planning the construction of fund town, and gradually carry out preliminary research, policy formulation, expecting to rely on the nature of fund town financial carrier to upgrade local real economy industry.
In 2017, the central government proposed to "promote the development of new areas, development zones and industrial parks at the national level". Therefore, the industrial park should take the lead in promoting the construction of the fund town, accelerating the strategic transformation of the park enterprises, rejuvenating the park's emerging industries. This may be a fund town as a new model of development and construction.
The development mode of domestic fund town which can be divided into three types (development under government guidance, joint development by enterprises and joint development by government and enterprises) is also mentioned in the report.
