BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- With the advancement of the Belt and Road construction, the mutual beneficial cooperation along China and other countries has been further deepened, creating new vast space for the development of foreign trade.
China achieved total import and export value of 2.6049 trillion yuan in November, up 12.6 percent year on year, including exports of 1.4342 trillion yuan and imports of 1.1706 trillion yuan, up 10.3 percent and 15.6 percent year on year respectively, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics. This registered a trade surplus of 263.6 billion yuan in November.
From January to November, China achieved cumulative imports and exports of 25.1369 trillion yuan, up 15.6 percent year on year, including exports of 13.8509 trillion yuan and imports of 11.286 trillion yuan, up 11.6 percent and 20.9 percent year on year respectively.
During the period, China's general trade imports and exports grew by 18.1 percent, accounting for 56.4 percent of China's total imports and exports, 1.2 percentage higher than that in last year. China's mechanical and electrical product exports grew by 12.6 percent, accounting for 58.1 percent of China's total imports and exports, 0.5 percentage higher than that in last year.
Chinese industrial enterprises achieved an export delivery value of 1.1942 trillion yuan in November, up 11.8 percent year on year, which brought total export delivery value of Chinese industrial enterprises to 11.4399 trillion yuan in January-November, up 11.1 percent year on year.
Since the beginning of this year, China has continued to press ahead with the supply-side structural reform, sped up the construction of the modern economic system and implemented the innovation-driven strategy in depth, laying a solid foundation for foreign trade development.
