BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua)--The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Forum on International Communication and Chinese (Guangdong) Companies Going Global, hosted by the Information Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and China Economic Information Service (CEIS), will be held at Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from November 28 to 30, 2017.
Themed on “Cooperation, Communication and Value”, the forum will focus on international cooperation in policy-making, technology, trade, finance, infrastructure and people’s livelihood. In addition, it will explore ways to realize mutually advantages complementary and cooperative development, promote the integrated development of Guangdong and countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in fields of economy, trade, culture and technology. Moreover, the forum will publicize the business environment and socioeconomic achievements of Guangdong through exchanges between Chinese and foreign media, summarize the progress made by Guangdong in the Belt and Road Initiative, and popularize the achievements of Guangdong companies in promoting the economic development and cultural exchanges in the countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The forum will include one main forum, titled “the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Forum on International Communication and Chinese (Guangdong) Companies Going Global”, and three parallel sub-forums, namely “Sino-Foreign Media Dialogue on Cooperation”, “21st Century Maritime Silk Road Creates a New Pattern for Trade”, and “Life Science Research Boosts Health Silk Road”.
Furthermore, 2017 Action Report on Guangdong Companies Going Global along the Belt and Road Initiative will be released on the forum, and the Exhibition on Achievements of Guangdong Companies Going Global, featuring varied technologies and social interaction will be showed. Nearly 1,000 attendees, including heads of national institutions, officials of international organizations, representatives of renowned enterprises in countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, world-renowned experts and scholars, senior media executives and other distinguished guests will attend the forum.
