BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp, the publicly traded unit of technology company LeEco, plans broad price cuts following the naming of a new CEO, Liang Jun, in May, domestic financial news portal stcn.com reported Tuesday.
The LeEco Super4 X40 smart TV's price will be cut by 450 yuan ($66) to 1,799 yuan and that of the Super 4 X43 will fall 400 yuan to 1,999 yuan, according to the report.
The company declined to comment when reached by the Global Times on Tuesday.
Jia Yueting, founder of LeEco, stepped down as the CEO of Leshi in May, but he remains chairman and CEO of LeEco, said media reports. (Global Times)
